The big question is: Why is he increasing his stake in Berkshire?

Based on recent filings, Warren Buffett’s investment company, Berkshire Hathaway Inc (NYSE: BRK.A),has bought another 9.6 million shares of the oil giant Occidental Petroleum Corp. (NYSE: OXY).

Warren Buffett recently increased his stake in Occidental Petroleum, making it a 14% stake in the company. 

Savvy investors tend to follow the strategies of Hedge funds like Berkshire Hathaway, owned by Warren Buffett. Some recent buys of Berkshire Hathaway are Chevron Corp, Nu Holdings, and Activision Blizzard.
